Best known for her role as Jessica Hamby on HBO’s True Blood, Deborah Ann Woll knows a thing or two about online dating. In fact, Woll actually met her current boyfriend on the popular dating website match.com in 2007. Admittedly that was before she was gracing the small screen, but who knows how many future celebrities are signed up to online dating… maybe you could snag yourself a gem before the rest of the world cottons on! Woll told Glamour magazine “I’m shy, and I’d always had a hard time meeting boys. I had a serious boyfriend in high school, but Hollywood, where it’s all about being ‘cool,’ terrifies me! When I opened my Match account, I’d done a few guest spots but wasn’t on True Blood yet, and I wanted to find someone grounded.”

Eric Stonestreet, better known as Cameron Tucker on ABC’s Modern Family, is so good at playing one-half of the shows beloved gay couple, that many don’t realise Stonestreet is actually straight. With even his co-stars describing him as “gay for pay”, perhaps that’s why the Emmy award winner resorted to online dating. In January 2014, Stonestreet told Howard Stern: “I’ve gone out with a couple girls in L.A that I met on Tinder, like on real dates, It’s hard to meet people.”
