Life is meant to be lived in luxury, right? In some ways we all spend extra money to enjoy the finger things in life. Maybe you order the filet mignon at dinner instead of the chop. Perhaps you opt for the $50 bottle of wine rather than the $20. Well, if you want to talk real luxury then you had best keep on reading. Listed below are 11 of the world’s most mind blowingly expensive things.

The iPhone 4S Elite Gold: $9 million.

If you are an avid Apple fan then you probably think of the iPhone as one of the greatest inventions known to man. If you aren’t an iPhone user or an Apple fan then you probably find the whole lot of users to be rather pretentious. Either way your original opinion will be backed by the sight of the iPhone 4S Elite Gold model. This iPhone is worth a cool $9 million and takes its place atop the mantle as the world’s most highly valued phone. Stuart Hughes is the designer and he used 500 diamonds, which came to a total of over 100 carats, to get the details of the case just right. The home button is even spruced up with a flawless pink diamond which sits at around 8 carats. While this is definitely a Tommy Haverford level of ballin we still have trouble not dropping our phone in the toilet after a night of drinking. We’ll pass.

Manhattan Parking Spot: $1 million.

Parking in urban areas is a problem. We get it. Paying upwards of $20 to $30 an hour just to leave your car on the side of a busy street or inside of a crowded parking garage doesn’t seem like a very good deal. In Manhattan the issue has gotten so bad that now private parking spots are starting to really be worth money. In fact, if you are looking to buy a spot in downtown Manhattan you can bust out $1 million, 6 or 7 times the price of a house, and have one of your own. Call it an investment in the future. We’re actually not kidding. With the way parking spots are gaining value you could end up making a fortune in the long run. Still, it’d be pretty hard to pass over $1 million for an empty space of concrete in a parking garage. We never said it was easy being rich. Maybe we’ll just take the bus….
