Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders

Surprisingly the “Nanjing Massacre” is not well known around the world, but it was an absolute historical nightmare. In 1937 the Japanese army occupied Nanjing which was the capital city of China. The Japanese army committed numerous atrocities including mass execution, rape, and torture against civilians. It is estimated 300,000 civilians and Chinese soldiers died. This event can be remembered at the Memorial Hall of Victims which is a very well known museum in Nanjing. There are memorials, personal items, and exhibits about the Nanjing Massacre and also other World War 2 events.
