The set for this popular film is at the Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia. The said lodge actually exists in real life. If you are a fan of the movie, you can actually stay there, in the exact place where Baby and Johnny fell in love. They also made sure that there are fun activities hosted in there facilities which are similar to that of the movie, watermelon tossing included!
