In this sequel, Sharon Stone returns as the mischievous novelist Catherine Tramell who has a problem with the law. She is sent a psychiatrist to evaluate her, yet she uses her conniving ways to seduce him. Critics were not fans of this plot and only received a 7% freshness rating compared to the original that had 53%.
