At the Primetime Emmys, she was twice nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award. As part of Lanford Wilson’s The Hot l Baltimore’s original cast, she is also known to have been a Broadway member and won the Drama Desk, Obie and Theatre World Best Actress Awards for her performance in The Sea Horse, an off-Broadway play. She later reunited with fellow Two and a Half Men cast by Ashton Kutcher in the television show called The Ranch.
