An Unexpected Call
A few weeks after Heidi settled in her new apartment, she received an unexpected call from one of the guys she met while moving out of her old place. He said their landlord had given Heidi’s number to them because they wanted to ask her about something. As hilarious as it may seem, the guy couldn’t figure out how Heidi’s old washing machine could be operated. It was an old machine and had its quirks, and there was a special way in getting it started. Heidi knew explaining the whole process over the phone was almost impossible, so she made a decision to drop by the apartment and help the guy out.

When Heidi finally got to her old apartment, the guy apologized for having her come all the way there just because of some washing machine, explaining that he tried many times to get the machine started but failed to make it work. Heidi told him she didn’t mind coming over and then explained to him what to do exactly. Although it took him a couple of tries, he finally figured out how the machine could be operated. Trying to be polite, the guy offered a cup of coffee to Heidi, which she was glad to accept, and they started talking. The two realized they had a lot of things in common, so they agreed to meet again, this time planning something more fun than just running a washing machine!
