Who Is Ed?
This guy Heidi just met was New Castle University student Ed Savitt although at the time, they didn’t know that they attended the same university. Aside from that, they were both aiming for a dual-degree, which was a coincidence, though Ed was studying Psychology and Business unlike Heidi. During their brief talk over coffee, Heidi fell for Ed but it appears Ed was ahead of her. He fell for Heidi as soon as she entered his apartment in order to teach him how the washing machine could be started. The two planned a new date, with a dozen of dates following after that.

Heidi and her mom were always very close to each other, so Heidi didn’t hesitate to share this new development in her life. She told her mom everything about the guy she was dating, Ed Savitt, and Kay was happy for her daughter, being the supportive mother that she was. However, Kay was also aware that Heidi tends to get attached too easily and the mother started to worry about the possibility of her daughter getting hurt in the end. Kay couldn’t stand in the way of Heidi’s happiness, either, so just like any mother, Kay tried to make sure Ed was the right guy for her daughter.
