It seems like Americans can’t help but try and show off how well they know a country based on the movies they’ve seen. When asked about what the most annoying thing American tourists do, an Italian man said, “the hand-gesture” – you know the one, thumb-to-forefinger motion that you see in just about every American movie that’s about Italians. As it turns out, this symbol is not just one for emphasis, but it actually means “What do you want?”.

Unfortunately, in order to make it possible for tourists to interact with the animals, they get sedated, the tendons in their paws clipped, and their claws and teeth removed.
